sadhaa akal liv rahai karan siau ichhaa chaareh ||
Your consciousness is forever absorbed in the Timeless Lord, and is independent and sovereign in His actions.
dhrum sapoor jiau nivai khavai kas bimal beechaareh ||
O Guru Angad Dev Ji, of pure and sublime intellect! Just like a tree heavily laden with fruit bows down out of humility and quietly endures the pain (of stones thrown at it by people seeking its fruit), you remain deeply humble despite being filled with supreme divine virtues and patiently bear the hardships of the world. The Bhatt uses the beautiful metaphor of a fruit-bearing tree to highlight the Guru's supreme tolerance, benevolence, and utter egolessness.
eihai tat jaanio sarab gat alakh biddaanee ||
You have realized this core spiritual reality: that the Wondrous and Unseen Lord is entirely All-pervading.The bard explains that the Guru possesses the ultimate wisdom because he has directly experienced the presence of the invisible, magnificent Divine permeating every corner of the universe.
sahaj bhai sa(n)chio kiran a(n)mirat kal baanee ||
Dwelling in a state of supreme intuitive poise and spiritual stillness, you have naturally gathered and treasured this wealth of the Divine Name within your heart. The beautiful words emanating from your holy lips are radiating in all directions like rays of life-giving nectar, scattering divine enlightenment everywhere.
gur gam pramaan tai paio sat sa(n)tokh graahaj layau ||
Through the teachings and divine grace of Guru Nanak, you have attained the supreme, certified status of the True Guru; you have completely embraced and integrated truth and contentment within your being.

Bhatt Kalh emphasizes that Guru Angad Dev Ji earned the succession to Guru Nanak's throne through total surrender to the Gur's wisdom ("Gur Gami"). This absolute alignment filled his consciousness with unshakable righteousness and ultimate peace.
har parasio kal samulavai jan dharasan lahane bhayau ||6||
Bhatt Kal loudly proclaims that whosoever is blessed with the holy vision (Darshan) of Lehna Ji (Guru Angad Dev Ji), has effectively met and experienced the Supreme Lord Himself.

In this definitive seal of the stanza, the poet asserts that Guru Angad Dev Ji has become a mirror of the Divine. Seeking his presence translates directly into company with God.
man bisaas paio gahar gahu hadharath dheeo ||
Your mind has attained absolute divine faith, because the Holy Master Guru Nanak has blessed you with direct access and union with the Fathomless Lord.

The poet highlights the spiritual succession: Guru Angad Dev Ji's mind is completely anchored in unshakeable trust because Guru Nanak Dev Ji personally opened the doorway to the deepest, infinite realms of God's presence for him
garal naas tan naThayo amiau a(n)taragat peeo ||
You have drank the life-giving Divine Nectar deep within your soul, and as a result, the poison of all spiritual vices and worldly attachments has completely vanished from your being.

The bard uses the classic chemical/medicinal metaphor: when the soul drinks the true spiritual antidote (Amrit/Nectar), the spiritual toxins (Garal) of pride, greed, and duality can no longer reside in the mind or body.
ridh bigaas jaagio alakh kal dharee juga(n)tar ||
The very same considered Unseen Lord, who has established His divine power and sovereign Will throughout all the ages, has now revealed Himself within your heart. Your inner being has blossomed forth with the supreme joy of divine enlightenment.
satigur sahaj samaadh ravio saamaan nira(n)tar ||
The True Guru remains intuitively absorbed in deep Samaadhi (meditative poise) with that Lord who equally and continually pervades all.

Bhatt Kalh explains that the Guru's meditation is not a temporary stance or closed-eye ritual; it is a permanent, effortless state of connection ("Sehaj Samaadh") with the divine essence that flows uninterruptedly through all creation.
audhaarau chit dhaaridh haran pikha(n)teh kalamal trasan ||
You are open-minded and large-hearted, the Destroyer of spiritual and worldly poverty; upon seeing You, all sins are terrified and flee away.

Bhatt Kalh portrays the spiritual aura of the Guru. He is so boundlessly giving ("Udaarau") that he completely removes the inner emptiness of those who approach him. Furthermore, his purity is so immense that negative thoughts and past sins cannot exist in his presence—they are instantly dispelled.
sadh ra(n)g sahaj kal ucharai jas ja(n)pau lahane rasan ||7||
Immersed in eternal love and profound spiritual poise, poet Kalh proclaims: with my tongue, I forever chant the glorious praises of Lehna Ji (Guru Angad Dev Ji).

The bard concludes the entire 7th Savaiya by stating that singing the virtues of Guru Angad Dev Ji is not just a formal poem, but an intimate spiritual practice done with deep love ("Rangi") and peaceful contemplation ("Sahaji").
naam avakhadh naam aadhaar ar naam samaadh sukh sadhaa naam neesaan sohai ||
The Divine Name is your medicine, the Divine Name is your life support, and the Divine Name is the absolute bliss of your meditative trance; the glorious banner of the Divine Name forever adorns you.

Bhatt Kalh explains that the Guru is entirely sustained by the universe's divine current. He requires no worldly remedies, anchors, or statuses—God's connection serves as his internal healing, his spiritual platform, and his visible cosmic emblem.
ra(n)g ratau naam siau kal naam sur nareh bohai ||
O Kalh! Guru Angad Dev Ji is deeply imbued with the Love of the Divine Name; this Name spreads a beautiful spiritual fragrance to both celestial beings and humans

Bhatt Kalh presents a gorgeous concept here: when a true saint is completely saturated in the color of God's Name, their very existence becomes like a stick of sandalwood. The virtues and purity emanating from Guru Angad Dev Ji do not just affect ordinary people; even the higher cosmic consciousness ("Sur") feels elevated and refreshed by his spiritual scent.
naam paras jin paio sat pragaTio rav loi ||
He (Guru Angad Dev Ji) who has obtained the philosopher's stone of the Timeless Lord's Name—within him has manifested such a sublime Truth that is shining throughout the world like the sun.
dharasan parasiaai guroo kai aThasaTh majan hoi ||8||
Beholding the holy vision of the Guru (and enshrining his teachings within the heart) yields the same spiritual reward that is traditionally associated with bathing at the sixty-eight (68) sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites. The core essence is that instead of washing oneself at external holy rivers, engaging in the Guru's congregation (Sadhsangat) completely purifies and cleanses the human mind.
sach teerath sach isanaan ar bhojan bhaau sach sadhaa sach bhaakha(n)t sohai ||
The eternal Divine Name is your ultimate sanctuary, and its sacred resonance your true cleansing. Boundless love for the Divine serves as your mind’s sweet nourishment; thus, forever voicing the absolute Truth, your holy life radiates supreme grace
sach paio gur sabadh sach naam sa(n)gatee bohai ||
Through the sublime grace of the Guru’s Word, you have realized the absolute Truth; and with the divine perfume of that Holy Name, you have blessed the entire congregation with spiritual fragrance, illuminating their minds with the awareness of the Divine.
jis sach sa(n)jam varat sach kab jan kal vakhaan ||
Proclaims the humble poet Kalh: Your inner self-discipline is the embodiment of absolute Truth, and your sacred conduct in this world is guided and shaped by that divine Truth alone.
dharasan parasiaai guroo kai sach janam paravaan ||9||
By beholding the Blessed Vision of the True Guru and seeking the touch of his holy feet—meaning, by deeply practicing his divine teachings—a mind's earthly manifestation achieves ultimate success and is spiritually accepted into the realm of absolute Truth.
amia dhirasaT subh karai harai agh paap sakal mal ||
Upon whomever he casts his benevolent, nectar-like gaze, he utterly eradicates all their terrible sins, misdeeds, and spiritual impurities of the mind.
