Savaiye Mahale Dooje Ke 2

ੴ Satgur Prasad.

Blessed is that Supreme Being, the 'Creator', the Cause of all causes, and the All-Powerful Doer.

Blessed is Guru Nanak, the True Guru, who placed His holy hand upon your forehead (Guru Angad Dev Ji).

When Guru Nanak placed His divine hand upon your forehead (Guru Angad Dev Ji), the nectar of spiritual poise poured down in torrents. Hearing of this spiritual coronation, angels, humans, heavenly attendants, and silent sages were utterly drenched and burst into divine ecstasy.

You challenged and subdued the cruel demon of death; You restrained Your wandering mind; You overpowered the five demons (lust, anger, greed, attachment, and ego) and You keep them controlled within one home (the inner self).

By remaining at the door of the Divine Lord, you have conquered the entire world (the attachment to Maya). You are playing the un-envious game of viewing all living beings as equal. You have anchored the chariot of your mind/intellect in 'Unman' (the state of perfect wisdom and highest spiritual awareness) and have forever attuned your devotion to the feet of the Formless Lord.

Bhatt Kal Sahar says, sing the praises of Guru Angad Dev Ji, whose glory is spread throughout the seven continents (the entire world). By touching (perceiving) the holy feet of Satguru Nanak Dev Ji, Bhai Lehna Ji became the Guru of the entire universe.

The stream of Ambrosial Nectar from His glance washes away the slime and filth of sins; the very sight of His door dispels the darkness of ignorance.

Those who contemplate and practice the most sublime Word of the Shabad—which is a highly arduous and difficult task—are carried across the terrifying world-ocean by the Guru, and completely freed from the heavy burdens of sin and karma.

By entering the Sat Sangat (True Congregation), living beings attain the state of spiritual poise (Sahj). Through the blessing of the contemplation (Naam) taught by the True Guru, their minds awaken from the slumber of worldly attachments (Maya). Their temperament becomes completely filled with humility, and they remain forever drenched in the Supreme Love of the Lord.

You hold tight to the Naam, the Name of the Infinite Lord; Your immaculate glory is spread far and wide. You are the ultimate Support of the seekers, the Siddhas, the noble ones, and all living beings.

You are the very embodiment of King Janak (the master of spiritual poise and royal detachment); Your Shabad is the most sublime essence in the universe. You abide in this world completely untouched by its illusions, just like a lotus flower remaining unaffected while floating upon the water.

You are the Wish-fulfilling Tree (Kalpavriksha), the Destroyer of all diseases and the Eradicator of worldly miseries. The soul, trapped within the three-fold qualities of Maya, becomes liberated and continuously attuned to the One Lord through Your divine grace.

Says Kal Sahar the poet: sing the praises of Guru Angad Dev Ji, whose glory resonates throughout the seven continents (the entire world). By touching the holy feet of the Divine Lord, Lehna became the ultimate Guru of the entire universe.

You served the approved and perfect True Guru (Guru Nanak Dev Ji), and through this, You obtained supreme honor in the Court of the Divine Lord. You have subdued the huge serpent-like mind (the powerful ego and worldly desires) and have elevated Your consciousness to Unman (the highest state of sublime spiritual ecstasy).

(O Guru Angad Dev Ji!) Your holy vision is identical to the physical manifestation of the Divine Lord Himself, and Your sacred entity is completely filled with supreme spiritual wisdom. O True Guru, approved in the Court of the Formless Lord! You thoroughly know the infinite and unutterable glory of that Almighty God.

Your divine glance is anchored in an unshakeable place, and Your immaculate intellect abides in the sublime sanctuary of the Lord. Wearing the armor of humility and pure conduct, You have utterly destroyed the deceptive power of Maya (Sakat).

By the mere casting of Your merciful glance, the darkness of ignorance is dispelled, sins are burnt away, and all vices are completely destroyed.

You are a mighty Spiritual Warrior attuned to the Shabad (Divine Word), and the Destroyer of lust and anger.

You have overpowered greed and emotional attachment (Maya); You nurture and cherish those seekers who come to Your Sanctuary.

You have gathered the spiritual wealth of love for the Divine within Your heart. Your spoken words are pure Ambrosial Nectar, which molds and transforms the burning hearts of this dark age (Kali Yuga).

You are the True Guru of this dark age of Kali Yuga, the supreme coronation mark/crown among all spiritual teachers. Whosoever attaches themselves to You with true devotion is absolutely carried across the world-ocean.

The lion-like son of Baba Pheru Ji, Bhai Lehna, is the Guru of the entire world; manifested as Guru Angad, He enjoys and practices Raj Jog (the sublime state of absolute spiritual detachment alongside divine sovereignty).
